MGA Agents and Directors
Drew trained as an Actor at the Birmingham School of Acting – Royal Birmingham Conservatoire and The College of Visual and Performing Arts, Kutztown University, USA. He then completed his Post Graduate studies in Singing at The Royal Academy of Music, London.
His 15 year career as a professional performer has ranged from West End, Regional and International productions in both principal and supporting roles as well as understudy and ensemble tracks. His consultancy work has seen him cast and manage several large scale European tours, develop and rebrand several successful UK based performing arts colleges, company manage two separate musical theatre casts onboard ships for two of the worlds most prestigious cruise companies and launch several high-end brands within the UK’s theatrical industries including Beyond Broadway Productions, MGA Management and The Beyond Broadway Experience.
Drew co-founded Infinity Artist Management with Susie Dumbreck in the UK which complemented his work as the Managing Director of MGA Management and allows him to support MGA’s team within their own roles representing professional clients.
Drew is the Managing Director of Scotland’s largest private and only CDMT Accredited performing arts college, The MGA Academy of Performing Arts in Edinburgh. He lectures in Professional and Career Development and regularly produces and directs their students in full-scale productions.
Tabitha trained as a Musical Theatre performer with a view to moving into Artist Management. Following a two year career as a professional performer, she returned to Edinburgh to work as an Agent’s Assistant with MGA’s Directors, Andrew Gowland and Murray Grant and fork as an intern for SEA Personal Management, in London. Tabitha was promoted to become a full-time Agent in 2013 and in 2017, Tabitha was then promoted to Agency Director standing alongside both Murray and Andrew.
She is qualified in Business Administration, Digital Marketing and is currently working towards her Business Degree. She also lectures in Professional Development for Performers at The MGA Academy of Performing Arts.
Tabitha is based between both our Edinburgh and London offices managing all of our clients and directing the continual growth of MGA Management.
Graduating in 2001 from Bird College, Murray Grant immediately won a contract to tour the USA with Columbia Artist Management Inc. and enjoyed several years dancing around the globe before undertaking contracts as a choreographer.
Murray has performed as a dancer all over the world and most notably Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, Chicago, Sydney and Vienna in musical theatre, opera & cabaret productions.
In addition to a lengthy performance career, Murray’s directorial and choreographic credits include: touring China and Europe with Musical Starlights, European tour of Best of Musicals, Twelve International Tenors tours of Europe and China, Moulin Rouge (German TV Production), The Phantom of the Opera and Carnaby Street Capers for P&O World Cruises, Macphersons Rant (World Premiere, Scotland), Union Square Opening Ceremony (Scotland), Bat Boy, The Producers and Flashdance for MGA Productions.
Numerous choreography contracts and World Premiers followed prior to teaching contracts as well as producing credits for his own company MGA Productions based in Scotland’s capital city, Edinburgh. Further appointments include becoming Managing Director of Beyond Broadway and Guest Tutor for the Institute of the Arts, Barcelona.
Stuart began his training at SLP college in Leeds where he was a recipient of a DADA Scholarship award. Stuart then went on to complete his training at The MGA Academy of Performing Arts graduating in 2013 with a Diploma in Musical Theatre.
Since then, Stuart has had a successful career as a performer traveling all over the world working for various well established companies. Now keen to settle back at home in Edinburgh, Stuart has taken on the role of Agency Assistant based in our Edinburgh offices working alongside and assisting Agency Director Tabitha Watson.
